Neutral Cycle at Farmer's Market this Saturday, Free Tune-Ups and Bike Jewelry Workshop

Spring is here and the Urbana Farmer's Market is back.  Come by this Saturday, May 9th, to check out Neutral Cycle's booth at Art in the Market and get a free tune-up or learn how to make bike jewelry.  Let's celebrate National Bike Week and the Farmer's Market together!

Huzzah, the Farmer's Market has returned!  The cold has passed and we're now soon to be inundated with fresh, local fruit and veggies.  Last Saturday marked the first day for

Urbana's Market at the Square

in 2015 and we can look forward to months of weekly opportunities to stock our fridge with the tastiest foodstuffs Central Illinois has to offer.

The Farmer's Market,

which we've written about before

,

twice

, is a Champaign-Urbana institution.  Held since 1979, it's one of the biggest farmer's markets in Illinois and offers the best in local fruits, vegetables, meats, eggs, honey, crafts, and entertainment.

Art at the Market

, sponsored by the

Urbana Public Arts Program

and the

Illinois Arts Council

, showcases local artists with free monthly workshops and performances.  In simultaneous celebration of the beginning of the Farmer's Market and

National Bike Week

, this Saturday from 8AM-12 we'll be holding a workshop on making jewelry from bike parts (

the second time we've done this

) and offering the community free tune-ups.  You'll find us at the northwest corner by the City of Urbana tent.
