Fall Bike Repair Workshops – November 1st – Flat Fix

We're holding our first class, covering flat tires, on November 1st.This Fall, Neutral Cycle is offering a series of bike repair workshops. These classes will cover a number of beginning to intermediate topics on how to keep your bike in tip-top shape. Right now we have two scheduled, one on fixing flats and another on basic maintenance. Keep an eye on our blog and Facebook page, because we hope to add more! Let us know if you have any suggestions for topics you think would be useful.November 1st: Flat FixAt Neutral, we fix tons of flats every day. Anyone who's had a bike has had to deal with them and as long as you have a bike, you'll continue to have to deal with them. Fixing flats is where every bike mechanic starts. It's not difficult, but there are some important steps that will ensure your tubes last longer.In this class you will learn about how to fix a flat properly, how to troubleshoot problems connected to flats, and common flat-changing errors. You’ll even receive a free pair of tire levers (essential to fixing a flat).

Those who participate in this first class will get a reduced price for our November 15th class.November the 15th: Maintenance 101This class will cover bike parts, how they work, and what you need to do to keep them functioning properly. This class will be the launching point for more focused, in-depth classes on specific repairs like derailleur adjustment and wheel truing. We'll have more details about this and subsequent workshops in a few weeks' time.
